We were led to begin Tabernacle of Hope in Tampa for specific spiritual and strategic purposes. First, we are determined to combat the effects of urban decay that have decimated our city. The direct result of sin, neglect, and oppression has resulted in entire communities being destroyed by crime, sin and fear.
Additionally, the effects of our society’s drift away from the laws and principles of God are openly manifested in hopelessness and futile attempts to find fulfillment in materialism, pleasure seeking, and addictions. Through the proper application of God’s Word, we will endeavor to halt this downward trend and to affect our community positively for Jesus Christ.
Many churches and individuals have intentionally moved from the inner core of our city due to the issues described above. However, the majority of the political, economical and financial decisions for our city are still made in the inner core. Also, much of the nightlife and immorality that combine to distract and destroy our youth and community are centered in the downtown area.
Since we desire to see the power of God break the strongholds in our city, we are strategically located in the inner city as a foundation for spiritual renewal. It is our determination and pledge to change the spiritual climate of our city by changing lives and influencing policies and entire communities.
With this in mind, join us as we experience Hope at 6907 N. Nebraska Ave, Tampa, FL 33604 every Sunday at 10:00AM and every Wednesday at 7:30PM.
